Adobe® to Launch Acrobat® 9

On June 2, 2008 Adobe Systems Incorporated
announced that the new, Adobe® Acrobat® 9
software product line will launch in July of 2008.
According to Adobe, Acrobat® 9 offers a
"...significant upgrade that will transform the
process of creating and sharing electronic
documents. Acrobat 9 delivers native support for Adobe Flash® technology, the ability to unify a wide range of content in rich PDF Portfolios, and access to real-time capabilities for co-navigating a PDF document with colleagues". The pencil and eraser mark-up tools in Acrobat 9 work well with the Wacom Pen.

2008 Dwell Wacom Live Eco-Design Rendering Challenge

On June 6th, 2008, as part of the third annual Dwell on Design Conference + Exhibition + Home Tours, Dwell Magazine and Wacom put on a Live Architectural Design competition held in the Courtyard of LA museum of Contemporary Art. The "2008 Dwell-Wacom Live Eco-Design Rendering Challenge", featured seven of Los Angeles' top design-rendering gurus competing in a video-game-tournament-meets Iron-Chef-style competition. The contestants worked directly on the screens of Wacom Cintiq Interactive Pen Displays producing complete, detailed renderings in less than one hour.
